San Francisco's amazing The Family Crest played Eddie's Attic last night. Fellow Bay Area band Goodnight Texas opened.
It was just last Rocktober that Family Crest opened for Motopony at The Drunken Unicorn to an audience of only about a dozen or so people and this is now their first headliner tour, so it's encouraging to see a larger and enthusiastic audience show up than the handful of people at the Unicorn.
Naturally, Family Crest opened with Beneath The Brine.
They proceeded to play about everything you'd want to hear from them, including Love Don't Go, The World, and North, and many points between.
In all, it was an incredible set, lacking nothing,
NPR's Bob Boilen introduced their Tiny Desk Concert by stating "There's a decent chance you're about to discover your favorite new band." I think they made more than a few converts last night at Eddie's Attic.
