Okay, now what have we got here? Stereolab founder Tim Gane has a new band called Cavern of Anti-Matter featuring original Stereolab drummer Joe Dilworth and synth wizard Holger Zapf. They've just released the follow-up to their debut album, Blood Drums, with a new LP titled Void Beats/Invocation Trex.
Next, The Horror's keyboardist and synthesiser player Tom Furse (also know as Tom Cowan) has created a 17-minute mini-mix of the new album called, appropriately enough, Tom Furse (The Horrors) void beats minimix, and posted the whole thing up on Soundcloud. Here it is, with all its gothy atmospheres, driving krautrock rhythms, and dance-floor beats.
