Ambient Compilation 2

After Silence and Compilation 1, the next full CD from Namlook's FAX label was 1993's Ambient Compilation 2.

You're excused for wondering what happened to Ambient Compilation 1, or if Ambient Compilation 2 was the ambient follow-up to the techno/trance Compilation 1.  It's confusing, but the numbers assigned to FAX releases during 1993's "Phase One" were not sequential.  Records during this period were released in a series, or "Project," of 10 or 20 records at a time, and the number following a FAX title indicates which Project the release was included with.  For example, Sequential 3 does not mean that it is the third Sequential record (although it was), but that it was released as part of the Project 3 series. 

Ambient Compilation 2, then, was a collection of ambient tracks, FAX' first, released during Project 2.  The track list was as follows:

Only 500 copies of Ambient Collection 2 were printed and the CD has long been out of print.  A copy had been uploaded to YouTube but subsequently taken down. However, most of the tracks can be found individually on YouTube, or similar tracks from subsequent Projects can be located.  Here's track 8, Sequential's (Namlook and DJ Criss) Lost in the Sea.
