It's now official - these daily releases of improvised instrumental tracks by Yo La Tengo constitute their new album We Have Amnesia Sometimes. The album is available now for download from their Bandcamp page; vinyl shipments (if that's what you're into) will begin in mid-October.
For the record, I once saw Yo LA Tengo perform an improvised set of instrumental pieces under the name Little Black Egg Big Band at a free day party during the 2014 Hopscotch Festival in Raleigh, NC.
