Best New Thing Department - Oh Sees frontman John Dwyer and TV On The Radio's Kyp Malone have a new side project called Bent Arcana that channels the best of Bitches Brew-era Miles Davis. You'd be forgiven for mistaking Oblivion Sigil for an outtake from the In A Silent Way session where Miles temporarily left the room.
The whole album is equally terrific. More reason to hate the coronavirus - with live music venues all shut down, there's little chance to seeing this project live.
