I often fall down musical rabbit holes. In fact, my daily listening habits are geared around not finding the familiar and the comforting but discovering new music, hearing something I never heard before.
I never heard of Davy Kehoe before today and I know nearly nothing about him, other than that he's Irish (which is about all I got from a brief internet search). But today I stumbled across the track Storm Desmond from his excellent 2017 album, Short Passing Game, and now I can't listen to anything else.
His recent (May 2026) LP, No You, which may or may not also be a band name, led me to his collaborator, Suzzanne Kraft, which led me to her former collaborator, Jonny Nash, and on down the rabbit hole I go.
