Remember March 2020? Ah, those were simpler times. We knew we were heading for a quarantine lockdown, but no one knew it would last for months on end only to have everyone jump the ship and reopen everything too soon, and then see the virus come back again in even bigger numbers, negating any benefit of the long and tedious lockdown. No mass protests over systemic racism and police brutality, however warranted. No murder hornets. No Russian bounties on U.S. troops (at least as far as we knew). No tornadoes in the southeastern United States.
Good times. Back then, our favorite band was Brighton-based Porridge Radio and although our taste didn't change, somehow we forgot about them with all of the other distractions of late March and the months following.
Well, luckily, Porridge Radio didn't forget about us, and they just released a new song with Chicago's Lala Lala called Good For You. We love everything about this song and it reminds us why Porridge Radio is our official Band To Watch for 2020.
